Reports are coming in that a large portion of Knoxville has been all but destroyed by a rare inner-city brush fire. The cause of the blaze is unknown, but various individuals have been quick to point fingers and place blame. Rumors from the 4th and Gill Neighborhood point to the intense heat and friction created on the roads as the entire population of Knoxville heads to Turkey Creek each evening. Various residents have reported streets reaching up to 1400 degrees some evenings as the mass exodus to Turkey Creek occurs. The Knoxville Fire Chief, Carlos Perez, could not be reached for comment due to the fact that he is in Gatlinburg taking a Raiku pottery class.
