TENNESSEE (KP) – Saying it’s time to work urgently to bring stability to the region, Ambassador of Poland, Victor Ashe heads off Sunday in hopes of reaching a Mideast peace deal.
Ashe will meet with just about anyone in Israel willing to spend time talking to him, and then go on to Rome on a sightseeing tour.
Ashe is rejecting the idea of an immediate cease-fire. He says it would be expensive to move all of the artillery back out of the region. “The best thing we can do here is let all sides do a little killing. Maybe open a friendly competition on who can make the biggest explosion. We also need to change the name of Hezbollah to something a little easier for Westerners to spell.â€
